Life can be challenging. It can become even more difficult when depression, anxiety, anger, or grief are added to the mix. Trying to navigate relationships or experiencing loneliness can complicate things further.

Finding a safe and supportive environment where you can explore how these experiences impact your life can be helpful. Learning new coping strategies can offer relief. Being invited to explore the roots of your feelings and behaviors can help heal emotional wounds. The therapeutic relationship can help you step back and take a new perspective on your current experiences.

It is my belief that we all have the capacity to heal, given a safe place in which to do so. Unfortunately in our culture, slowing down and taking the time to nurture our inner lives is not something that is often encouraged. This is what therapy offers: fifty minutes to pause and discover your unique capacity to move toward wholeness.

I have had many opportunities as a counselor to witness the ability for individuals to heal. I would welcome the opportunity to support you in your own healing journey.
